Balance and falls
Physical therapy at home for people who feel less steady, have fallen, or worry about falling. The stairs, rugs and doorways you use every day are where you practice.
This care is for you if
You feel unsteady on stairs, curbs or uneven floors
You have stumbled or fallen and want to understand why
You limit what you do because you worry about falling
A family member worries about you moving around alone

What a visit looks like
What we do
Ani checks your strength, your feet and how you turn, stand up and step. She practices the movements that worry you in the rooms where they happen, with a hand nearby, and looks at lighting, rugs and handrails with you.
What decides how many visits
What she finds, what worries you most, how you respond and what your doctor has asked for. Ani reviews the plan with you at each visit and tells you when to finish, change course or see a physician.
Who treats you
Ani Sarkis, a physical therapist, at every visit. Nobody else comes to your door.
Meet AniHow it is paid for
You pay Satchel directly, and you get a written estimate before your first visit. We do not bill Medicare or other plans.
How fees work
- Chest pain, trouble breathing, a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with a head injury needs emergency care now. Call 911.
Questions about this care
Is dizziness something you treat?
If you are dizzy, or you hit your head in a fall, see a physician first. Ani works with what your physician finds.
Can a family member come to the visit?
Yes. Many people ask a family member to sit in, and Ani can show them how to help without taking over.
What if I fall between visits?
If you are hurt or hit your head, call 911. If you are shaken but not hurt, call us and tell your doctor.
Ready when you are
Book a visit at your home, or start with the free 15-minute phone call. Either way, tell Ani what you want to get back to when she arrives. We do not ask for it in the form.
